The air box is only approximately 6 inches in depth and once installed it is pretty flush to the ceiling of the vehicle.
Fresair is a roof mounted system and must lay flat to operate properly.
Fresair has a fan mode along with its cooling abilities but air is only pulled in from the outside not pulled out as an exhaust fan does. We recommend cracking a window or door to circulate air outside the vehicle…. which is quite easy with the amount of air the Fresair produces.
